summary: maybe without what happened later, this event would have passed and been forgotten. Only alin's whining would remain, or my father's cold treatment towards him.

It could not be a sunflower, no matter how fertile it was, it could not end when it was planted in the çukurova land, my mother, who devoted herself to being a good teacher and raising us, creating a life of her own, intervened again, and then retreated into her own shell, just like my father. They were just two fragile slugs, always in their homes that remain the same even though they seem to vary. The story begins with a young lawyer meeting his client in the heat of adana, where the wind is blowing and the waves are crashing, in 1995. In the shadow of the fig garden base, we are transported to the 1966 of the transforming city, then crowned printeroğlu writes us as witnesses to a bitter event that has passed. When we arrive in june 1983, our hero takes the oath of belgium, with the purity, intelligence, and enthusiastic observation power of an eleven-year-old. Neither she nor anyone else is aware that a young american who moved to the eser apartment where her mother, father, and older sister alin live, will completely change the lives of that young man with black converse from start to finish. With his second novel, taçlı yazıcıoğlu writes about adana, the unknown or ignored, in a melancholy secret hiding in the nights of star ivy, in the shadows of figs, in the coolness of dam, with a bold naivety as if it had never been written.

a completely different adana novel is being gifted to our literature.
