Product description

I have not told anyone this story.

i didn't even tell kayra.

neither he asked nor i said.

i never talked about the first murder i handled.

i didn't even say a word.

but kayra always spoke.

however, there was no need.

because i was next to him.

i was there when you killed that old man.

kayra embroidered her first murder with a pillow.

he was a 93 year old man who had a stroke.

but it wasn't enough that he was paralyzed.

kayra waited for him to sleep. Kayra, 93 years old, strangled a paralyzed man in his sleep.

then he turned around and looked at me.

“i felt nothing,” he said.

“i feel nothing,” he said.

“i won’t feel anything,” he said.

we left that old village house and went to a bar in abidjan.

we sat across from each other and asked for a flag each.

i thought i would ask at that moment.

because we promised each other.

in our first month in africa, we were both going to commit a murder.

kinyas and kayra were going to be murderers.

so we would never return to our homes. Derz has compiled pages from hakan günday's fanzine, titled "anakara seyir defteri," featuring his stories published in various magazines.

good reading, good looking!
