Drying bıttım peanuts are ground in a mill and then kneaded with water in a boiler at medium temperature. The kneading process is the most demanding stage. This process takes close to two hours. A certain amount of oil is extracted from the bıttım peanuts that have been kneaded for two hours. This oil goes in a separate container. The remaining bıttım peanuts are left in a hot environment. Thus, the fats are tried to be completely drained. The oily solution begins to rise to the surface of the water. When this process is finished, the leftovers in the boiler are thrown away and the boiler is cleaned. After the cleaning of the boiler, the bıttım pistachios are cleaned from their shells and while the oil in the boiler is boiling, a solution is prepared in another container for the saponification reaction to occur.
