Dipnot Yayınları Mahir Çayan Book

Product description

We would not be exaggerating if we said that mahir çayan is the brightest star among the iconic figures of the turkish socialist movement. His political-ideological-practical journey, which began with the fkf and continued with the dev-jugend and thkp-c, has had a significant and lasting impact on the turkish socialist movement to this day.

His writings, including "politicalized military warfare strategy," "artificial balance," and "neo-colonialism," and his approach to imperialism as an inherent phenomenon, along with his classifications and diagnoses of imperialist decline periods, represent significant milestones in the theoretical development of the turkish left. The political movements that emerged from the thkp-c, which he founded, also played an effective role in the optimism of the socialist movement after '71.

The book at hand brings together the theoretical legacy (all his writings) of this unique leader of the turkish socialist movement, whose historical and political value is quite high, and also includes the assessments of some authors about mahir çayan and his ideologism. We hope that the book offers a modest contribution to rethinking and discussing mahir çayan.
