Product description

“memduh şevket esendal is one of our writers who has contributed the most to the purification and enlightenment of our language. In fact, after umar seyyefettin, he is the one who worked the most on this path. I want to say this: ömer seyfettin saved our language from the ruins of the old man's literature, and those who came after him, even if they didn't love his art, followed the path he opened. Memduh şevket esendal took another step forward, wanting to bring our writing language closer to our spoken language.

” (nurullah ataç) “he also knew to look at people. He was curious about the people who seemed to be playing backgammon in cafes, and the people who were not deemed worthy of attention in pensions. People who melted around him were looking at those in his position with vividness, pleasure, and curiosity, as if they were the only ones who needed it, and they were making stories from their lives to present to us. "(sait faik abasi) ""esendal's other features in storytelling are authenticity, simplicity, liveliness, localism, avoidance of unnecessary descriptions, and the way he describes people's moods, conversations, and attitudes."

while i am happy to be a storyteller, it is also commendable to be a colleague with him.
