Destek Yayınları Old Age and the Welfare State

Product description

The world population is aging rapidly and it is expected that in the coming decades, the elderly population in all oecd countries will continue to increase dramatically. Although it is a problem in modern societies today, it will not take long for it to emerge as a threat for developing countries as well. In developing countries, the aging of the population is occurring much faster than in developed countries. In this sense, it is expected that in the coming years, social aging will emerge as a much more significant problem for turkey as well.

This study aims to understand what the equivalent provision of health and elderly care services is as a “universal right” to all individuals in countries with a developed social security, health and elderly care system, and whether the perception of elderly people's quality of life is affected by their demographic characteristics.

"do you think ""in a developed welfare society, do the elderly who live in abundance and wealth feel happy?" "additionally, what is missing in the offered services if they do not feel happy?" "or is simply improving the quality of the ""offered services"" enough for the elderly to be happy?" What is the contribution of yaslin's demographic characteristics to his perception of life? Do adults with better family relationships feel happier? "efforts have been made to obtain answers to questions such as ""through one-on-one meetings with seniors who receive care services and information obtained through surveys."
