Product description

European-centric theories push asian and african societies out of the world's bed of historical development. Thus, the european society, my word becomes the unique bed of development and pioneer of humanity. It is argued that eastern societies are blocked due to their socio-economic structures, which do not have the dynamic of development structurally.

as a result, western imperialism and colonialism are justified, which will overcome this blockage of “back” third world peoples.

In this book, martin bernal describes the historical-cultural model that he calls the “model of the old age”. That it remains valid until the beginning of the century

However, the version of greek history taught in schools was only developed in the 1840s and 1850s

19. Century with the explosion of northern european racism, it states that the myth of “the cradle of the original european civilization is greece” is thrown out and the non-european elements that make up greece begin to disappear. We present this important work of bernal, which made a significant impact on europeanism and broke ground in its field, in the turkish translation of özcan buze.
