Product description

The novel 'awakened earth' by the nobel and lenin prize winner, sholokhov, is a great work that can represent soviet literature. Describing the october revolution and the years of civil war in durgun don, sholokhov, with his artistic sensitivity, this time looks at the process of agricultural collectivization in the soviet union.

although the seizure of power by the bolcheviks dislodged the class structures in the countryside, it did not fully resolve them.

while large landowners (ears) resist the establishment of socialism and kolkhozes with a thirst for ownership, part of the middle peasant tends to follow the ears.

in front of the poor peasants and the bolsheviki, there are two options to increase agricultural production: either slowly digest the ears, or tear them off with roots like a harmful plant. In the awakened earth, sholohov not only tells the story of the class struggle in the village lived by the don cossacks, but also conveys the relationships of the novel's characters with the land, nature, and the sociality established through labor, all with a loving, sometimes humorous language.

despite the harsh conditions of life, it highlights hope, love and the perseverance to build an inclusive society despite everything. We present this novel, which consists of two volumes and has reached millions of readers in seventy-five languages, in leyla soykut's fluent turkish.

i wonder how things would be in the co-op? Would everyone feel like him and now there is only one way left, to enter the kolkhoz? No matter how sad it was, they all had to agree that no matter how much it hurt to deliver the animals to the co-op, which had grown up with the children, played with them in the home's soil rooms, would it be a necessity to do so? Would they agree that one should not erase this love for one's own property from the root and not allow it to take root in the heart of a person?
