Product description

“under the hot summer weather, the mardin plain water looked like a yellowish lake. As the wheat ears swayed with the gentle wind, yellow waves appeared on the surface of the lake.

it was the lake of the sun, which received its color from the yellow of that holy light. A burning flood of light covered the entire vitality with a scorched yellowness, without allowing any other colors in the vast fields. Once upon a time, grasses, flowers, bushes, which showed different colors, had turned into a blurry gray color.

"in this novel of i̇dris baluken, he describes the adventure of mardin, where a man who is passionate about literature and cinema, upon a persistent invitation, will both discover his own roots and pursue a sacred relic belonging to one of the ancient peoples of the middle east that have experienced great tragedies." Later, the tides of an impossible love are added to this adventure accompanied by questions about human, place, date, memory, and reality. The author, taking hands from the old-time craftsmen who worked soft stones like embroidery, takes the reader to those magical lands where sorrow and secret spread everywhere.
