Product description

Ouch! Where are those old loves, lovers? lovers and other things, a compilation of cartoons by the famous french cartoonist jean-jacques sempé, who tells about love, lovers and heartbreaks, is a special collection book that examines the dusty relationship between lover and beloved at different levels. Sempé's cartoons, which reflect a thousand and one forms of love, from impossible loves to tragic separations and happy endings, tell stories within stories in the magical world of love. Sempé, who reveals how love and indirectly lovers are influenced by the consumer age we are in, often deals with the concept of love in a critical way with his cartoons, which are mostly wordless and sometimes complemented with writing. Is love a husband an illusion or an indispensable passion? If love is a necessity, why does it wear out so fast? What's the magic behind the concept of love? Focusing on the lives of those who live love to the smallest cell of their body, sempé's cartoons come to life again in the charm of a man who always goes far for love, in the complex mind of a lover who digs the name of his beloved, in the flimsy excuses of a man who tries to leave his lover. This compilation, where all the colors of love and love come together, manages to make both lovers and lonely people smile, and allows them to witness the many love stories that are lost between happiness and bitterness. Sempé, known for his numerous books and sensational cartoon works, as well as his drawings for newspapers and magazines such as the new york times, paris match, and the new yorker, reflects deeply in 'lovers and other things' using exquisite lines that perfectly reflect the relationship between love and femininity and masculinity. My greatest happiness is that i have left a piece of myself in the heart of every woman i know. . .
