Dergah Yayınları With Ayhan Bıçak Thoughts

Product description

Prof..

Dr. Ayhan bıçak, as a research assistant, had an extremely productive academic career from 1991, when he started his job, until 2023, when he retired, and with his intellectual productions, as he puts it, he fulfilled his duties towards the "tribe" he was in.

After all these years of feeling respect and affection for our students and colleagues, we've been left with heartfelt conversations about everyday life, concerns about the state of the country and the world, and countless shared reflections on today's philosophy, challenges, and opportunities. Ayhan bıçak never hesitated to share his productivity with us, always setting an example for us. Sometimes he sought our opinions to sharpen his thoughts before completing an article or a book, and sometimes he asked for feedback from us to evaluate his thoughts after publishing.

The teacher offered us the opportunity to learn something beyond the philosophical content of their work: how to develop a philosophical dialogue... in accordance with ayhan bıçak's view that "theoretical thoughts are formed by criticizing, discussing and systematically explaining the results obtained from long-term research conducted by scientists and philosophers in their research areas," the authors contributing to this book were encouraged to use ayhan bıçak's views as a lever in the process of presenting their own theoretical thoughts with their relevant studies.
