Dergah Yayınları Corıolanus

Product description

Coriolanus is a brave warrior who can almost defeat an army on his own, but his strength and self-confidence on the battlefield cannot go beyond arrogance in the eyes of his people

Everyone he values tells him that things have changed in rome, that the people's word is now passed, and that coriolanus should file his sharp edges and show modesty. So, will the lone warrior coriolanus, who is confident enough to risk the privileges of his class, be able to protect his position, his home, and even his life? Will it hold its own on a political stage, just like on a theater stage? Coriolanus, considered the last tragedy written by shakespeare, explores the conflict between the old and the new, aristocracy and the people. This book, which has been brought back to turkish with a fresh and meticulous translation, also includes comparisons of old translations with coriolanus visuals in turkey.
