Product Q&As
Should I wash it with water only or with milk, as some people say? Which is better?
Answer from DEMMEX
Hello, for the first cleaning of copper products, it is sufficient to wash them with water. Although the method of boiling with milk is recommended by some people, it is not necessary, and it does not affect the shelf life of the product. Before first use: Wash gently with warm water and a very small amount of dishwashing detergent. Use a soft sponge (no wire). Rinse and dry well. Due to copper's inherent nature, it may naturally tarnish over time. This is not harmful and is a characteristic of copper itself.
