Ethiopia core medium body is known for its sweet taste and aroma. Ethiopia, known as the homeland of coffee, is among the places where the best coffees in the world are produced with its extraordinary genetic diversity and is shown among the best arabica beans in the world. Yirgacheffe coffee is a wet processed (washed) coffee grown at an altitude of 1,700 to 2,200 meters above sea level. Thanks to its high altitude, the coffee grows slowly and the tree transmits nutrients to the coffee very efficiently, offering us a wonderfully aromatic coffee experience. The most suitable areas for growing coffee in ethiopia are mainly the southern and southern-western regions of the country. These are places like yirgacheffe, limu and sidamo. The unique aroma and density of washed coffees grown in mountainous terrain is ideal for coffee lovers. Apart from these, the increasing air temperatures in recent years, the threats of drought, the proliferation of pests, and price fluctuations in the coffee market have put the coffee sector in ethiopia through a difficult period. In response to these, the ethiopian government began to take serious measures. It also launched an aggressive tree planting initiative in 2020, with a goal of planting 5 billion saplings.
