Hâce-i Cihân is one of the scholars and statesmen who grew up in the Turkish Seljuk State. Up to the present day, no clear biography has been presented beyond the public legends, except for information found in some sources. Additionally, a comprehensive study has not been conducted on the Hocacihan region, which is referred to in relation to Hâce-i Cihân. The first part of the work addresses the life and personality of the Turkish Seljuk Statesman Hâce-i Cihân. It has been revealed how Hâce-i Cihân is mentioned in the Seljuk and later period sources. Based on his position in the Turkish Seljuk State, his contributions in scientific, social, and economic terms to both the state and Seljuk Konya have been examined. The other part of the work examines the Hocacihan region, which is named after Hâce-i Cihân, from the Seljuk period to the Republican period. In this study, the names and locations of many places belonging to the pre-Seljuk, Seljuk, and post-Seljuk periods have been identified within Hocacihan, a Seljuk settlement that has survived from the Seljuk Turks to the present day.
