Çınar Yayınları Sarı Yazma

Product description

Why did i come here? Not because i despise people, society, i'm afraid, i'm running away.

not at all as i believe i am sold out.

perhaps to start over, to be reborn and live, to grow and age.

in order to look at the voltages more consciously and enjoy them.

yellow writing is an autobiographical novel, but what is told is actually the story of a generation. This is a generation that has been worn out, broken and scattered by a climate of bitter social conflicts. "at the end of many years of struggle, rıfat ilgaz begins the yellow writing with his return to cide, the city where he was born with a tired but believing heart and determination to start everything again." The author presents a resistant and hopeful ending with a clear narrative, while experiencing a heartfelt showdown with all of his past in this period of his life.

"the ""yellow writing"", in which rifat ilgaz describes turkey's political structure and literary world from the liberation war to the 1950s on his own life axis, is also a story full of struggle of the social realistic intellectuals of the 1940s generation in the darkness of war."
