Çınar Yayınları Halime Kaptan

Product description

Halime kaptan's writing was still on my mind. He wrapped it around his head to prevent it from blowing in the wind, and tightly knotted the ends. Even those who see her at the helm wouldn't believe she's a captain, at best she'd be described as a well-behaved peasant woman representing her husband at the helm of the market return. He didn't have a laz cap on his head, a spear in his foot, or a blueberry in his hand, but suddenly the harshness of those days with a spear and a cap had settled on his face. All men who held a weapon during the years of the war of liberation have been sent to the front.

only the old, women and children remain in the village. In those days when everyone longed for salt, sugar, and bread, halime went to the black sea to make a living.

disguised as a man, he faces a thousand and one difficulties the first time he comes out with his son and his two crews. These challenges do not deter him

halime rıfat ilgaz, who is passionately connected to the black sea, tells the story of a rare hero in history. This is the novel of a female captain carrying ammunition to inebolu by fighting storms, horny waves, and pirates. Halime kaptan is a documentary of the turkish woman's struggle for her country at sea and carrying wave after wave of hope, as much as ammunition for the war of liberation.
