Ceylan Yayınları Darağacından Notlar/Julius Fuçik

Product description

As you know, the book describes the torture-filled lives of communist militants who were held in a czech prison between april 1942 and april 1943. i almost put the book aside due to the horror i felt while reading it, but then i continued reading, and this feeling gradually diminished until it completely disappeared. "however, this book should have been much more unbearable because it was written day by day: i saw that fučik was getting weaker day by day, as if i was there in his interrogations. so, what distinguishes this work from the others? in my opinion, fučik is never afraid of himself: he always knew that no matter what, it would not be resolved. this was not because he was determined to avoid speaking. he was just the kind of person who could not betray his comrades, and he knew it."
