Cem Yayınevi The Land of Women

Product description

Charlotte perkins gilman, one of the most important early representatives of feminist literature, establishes a new utopia after her work moving the mountain: women's country.

three american men, who are fond of adventure and science, but completely different personalities, explore a country inhabited only by women.

there is no evil, no enmity, no wars in the world in which they live, but, on the contrary, deep friendship and fraternity, and most importantly, a sense of universal motherhood. Our heroes, are the men who deserve the title of hero here? you will decide, as they try to adapt to this unique country, their perception of women begins to change in their minds and they both re-identify women and each other.

what will they win, what will they be deprived of, what will they look for or will they not look for at all in such a place? While writing this book in 1915, gilman not only addressed women's positions in life, but also touched upon the period's politics, economy, agriculture, education, poverty, science, and more, with her unique satirical style.

the land of women is a call to what women can achieve, to the fruits of friendship and unity, to the hope of a world without war and intolerance.
