Romain gary will not forget this promise he made. "after managing to fit multiple lives into one, following her mother's prophecies and beyond, she repeats this sentence every chance she gets, ending with ""someone named mr. piekielny would live." How should romain gary be introduced? Author, diplomat, fighter pilot, director

The iconic face of the cinema world, the wife of the beautiful short-haired jean seberg

The prestigious goncourt literary award, which is not given to the same person more than once, is a frenchman who managed to win it twice, once under his own name and once under the alias of émile ajar. Years after romain gary's death, the writer françois-henri désérable, who disappeared in vilnius, accidentally finds himself in front of the house where romain gary lived as a child. Gary remembers the promise he made to mr. piekielny and begins to occupy his mind with these questions: did someone named mr. piekielny really exist? Did romain gary, as he said, tell this famous sentence to kennedy, de gaulle, queen elizabeth and many others? The author, pursuing the original, opens the doors of a story and extraordinary lives in this novel where reality and fantasy intertwine, and it is unclear where one begins and where it ends.
