CAN Political Body Jean Jacques Rousseau Book 96 Pages

Product description

When rousseau's work, the social contract, consisting of four parts, was published in 1762, it opened a new chapter by introducing the principles of popular sovereignty and general will.

The philosopher set out the conditions that will secure the existence of the human being as a free and intelligent being, protect him from the tyranny of his kindred, and compensate for the loss of the individual's natural freedom with a higher type of freedom, with his famous social contract and theory of general will.

the political body covers the first part of this famous work of the author, which speaks of the birth of society through a contract, and the third part, which deals with various forms of government as executive power. Despite the fact that it has been two hundred and fifty years since the writing of rousseau's theory, it continues to shed light on our current political debates.
