CAN Plague

Product description

The easiest way to know a city is to find out how the people there work, how they make love, how they die. Everything begins when doctor rieux sees a dead mouse on an april morning.

this event is the harbinger of a great plague that will devastate the city of ora for eleven months, creating a terrible panic.

in the beginning, people who believe that the disease will not infect themselves, that they are untouchable, after the widespread spread of the epidemic, they are physically and mentally broken down, while being imprisoned in their own individual prison.

the only way to get through this crisis is to put aside individuality and show solidarity. Camus, who leaned towards the problem of human evil rather than a mere epidemic in the plague, emphasizes that getting used to despair is more terrifying than despair, calling us to resist the endless evil. The plague is the story of our day and all time.
