CAN Ormanda Ölüm Yokmuş</DNTCTMS> / Latife Tekin /

Product description

Go back in time, way back... when the winds started to blow around the world, weren't there any trees? Look at the shape of the leaves! To the scattering of the branches… it seems that the wind of the trees was formed knowingly. The story of yasemin, who wrote stories with emin, who stopped painting in the forest, but kept them to herself.

in the pain of separation from the woman he loves, emin takes refuge in the forest. In this internal journey of reckoning with the past, she is accompanied by yasemin, who also suffers from the pain of love. They share their pains, dreams, and loves in long dialogues. This conversation, enriched by the presence of trees, clouds, wind, and leaves, will deepen and broaden, gradually evolving into a profound exploration of existence. Latife tekin's "there is no death in the forest," which adopts a clear and calm narrative, should be read not only as a nature ode but also as a cultural critique. The emotional and mental problems caused by city life are depicted, while the inevitability of establishing a relationship based on harmony with nature is emphasized.

Today, as we experience a massive ecological collapse, with a deafening noise drowning out all the sounds of the earth, and millions of young people mobilizing to save the gasping nature, the call of "no death in the forest," which keeps a record of alienation from nature, undoubtedly gains even more importance.
