CAN On İkinci Gece

Product description

It is thought that shakespeare wrote this five-act comedy to be performed on the royal stage during the twelve night celebrations held on the eve of christmas.

According to belief, during these celebrations, everything is usually turned upside down and chaos chases each other. The name of the game is based on this, in fact: the twelfth night is a comedy of misunderstandings, disguises and confusion, which skillfully emphasizes that appearance is deceptive. Viola, who was separated from her twin, finds herself disguised as a male in her solution. The characters of the game become quite in love without knowing each other's true identity, and the confusion becomes unbearable.

the work, which is heavily invested in themes of sexual identity and appearance, questions aspects of sexuality that are still incomprehensible today, from centuries ago, with a humorous approach, it highlights how vague the boundaries are when it comes to sexuality.
