CAN Moll Flanders - Classic Women

Product description

Moll flanders tells the life story of a woman who was born in 17th century england.

Moll flanders, who was born in prison and lived twelve years of debauchery, twelve years of theft, went through five marriages, and whose adventures span from england to america, is one of the most intriguing female protagonists in english literature with her open-to-discussion life view and deeply presented portrait.

moll flanders, one of the first examples of the novel genre, sheds light on the social values of the period on the one hand, and on the other hand, it clearly reveals the criminal world and the issues of sexuality, without the anxiety of giving a moral lesson.

From its publication in 1722, the struggle of the main character of the book, which made a great impact, to survive in society without giving up the basic needs recognized by him and without compromising his personality, has been facilitated by comparing moll flanders with defoe's most famous work, robinson crusoe. Zira moll flanders, by showing a thousand and one devotion and cunning, is as lonely, creative and resourceful as robinson crusoe, who fell on an island in the middle of the ocean in the ancestral society.
