CAN Milena'ya Mektuplar

Product description

Franz kafka asks the journalist milena jesenská, whom he met at a friendly gathering in prague, to translate his stories into czech. This wish, which causes the intersection of kafka and milena's paths, will be the only means of limited communication if these correspondences, gathered under the title letters to milena, are the beginning of a relationship. Milena's letters is a unique book, a love story woven with letters. These correspondence between kafka and milena, which started in april 1920 with a rainy day, turn into a narrative of despair, helplessness, and frustration until shortly before the author's death. Because writing letters for kafka means undressing in front of ghosts, who, like hungry wolves, already expect this. The kisses written on the page do not reach their destination, ghosts consume them on the way. "
