summary: the sun was about to rise. Sleeping crickets would wake up, the tired would fall asleep, people would get out of bed and go to the breakfast table. Judging by the stars it would be a cloudless, windless, warm day. First, the distant whistle would sound, then the city lines would approach the pier, releasing foams that embossed the smell of algae. The inside would smell like tea and diesel as usual. The ropes would be collected immediately after a few minutes of casting

the steamer would not wait long in körburun because there would most likely be no other passengers from seher. Körburun, both a distant and nearby island... sapa, an extension of the mainland, closed to it, but so close. It tells us a story that we are not strangers to, with its stories that have been neglected and heavy flowing life. Old, ? In körburun, where the days with "oh, what beautiful neighbors" are increasingly closing in on themselves, and as they close in, the coercion of their own rules hardens, the steps of a life are woven, he is silent about noisy things, and the daily sounds turn into a hum. Hikmet hükümenoğlu's novel, "körburun," is hailed as a "great novel" that chronicles the loves, aspirations, and disappointments of three generations. it invites us to look beyond the story itself and consider its enduring relevance.
