CAN Citizen

Product description

Tahsin yücel, one of his most beautiful books, citizen, dosto It qualifies as a narrative in the direction of works such as underground notes from yevski, fall from camus, and a point on the map from sait faik. According to him, the most distinctive feature of these works is that they are both a story and a narrative about the world and humanity.

Perhaps that's why the formation of vatandaş (citizen) took over forty years. Born in 1954 as a ten-page short story

In 1964, it was transformed into a longer and more concise story in another language (french). In 1975, it emerged as a narrative that could also be called a novel. In 1996, with a number of additions and subtractions, it finally and most probably took its definitive form.

We leave some books as they are, thinking they are flawless in their own terms or at least have achieved their purpose, some because they are too flawed or too far from us, and some because we know we can never reach perfection, but we keep coming back, like returning to the father's hearth.
