Bilgi Yayınları Stories to Proverbs

Product description

While writing stories based on proverbs, i compiled suitable stories from old sources and also portrayed events that i had observed, according to proverbs. Since it is known that proverbs are judgments that have survived from very ancient times, i did not consider historical events as their origin stories.

while narrating some current events, i wrote as if they had happened in the past. Therefore, i found it appropriate to call the book “fables of proverbs”. Those who get to know our proverbs closely will see how rich our turkish is, the subtleties of our language, and will also taste its insatiable beauty. I hope our young readers will also understand how important proverbs hold in our language and how valuable life experiences they convey.
