Bilgi Yayınları Mahalle Kahvesi Havada Bulut - Sait Faik Abasıyanık

Product description

"neighborhood coffee cloud in the air - sait faik abasıyanık" - so, what kind of a world do you desire? i was now angry: - what kind of a world? a world where there is no injustice

a world where everyone is satisfied, at least they find a job, they are full

a world where there are not many thefts, violations of other people's rights

sorry sir! what do you mean by not many? a world that does not exist at all

sait faik takes his pen through stories that extend from the fisherman coffee houses to the islands, from the back streets of istanbul to the sea shores. he says, ""i would be crazy if i didn't write," but he doesn't write, he literally lives

he turns ordinary sounds into harmonious melodies in his texts

the door of his pen is always open to people and nature. we are proud to have helped sait faik's works, which he started to publish in the 1970s as ""sait faik collection"", to reach a wide audience, and we are re-presenting them faithfully to the original text."
