the turkish-islamic thought has served as the founder of the usa (19.12.1971) and as a teaching member. This academic discipline first emerged as a field of expertise within the philosophy department in our country in this field. One of the fundamental features of academic life is the presentation of the past - with expert knowledge - especially in social sciences

these knowledge also have the role of guiding experiences for future generations.

this relationship means that every society carries its history to the present. Thus, history becomes a thing of the past

and it becomes possible to both understand today and reinterpret the past in the context of today's problems.

this book in your hands gives the reader very fruitful clues to the interpretation of the past and the understanding of today.

history, of course, is long gone-the feature that makes it valuable is that in looking at today's problems, it can be a diagnostic tool and a guide in seeking solutions to them.

to repeat the achievements of the past is not enough to glorify them, because no problem can be solved by carrying the past into the present.

Prof.

It is possible to say that keklik's aim in establishing the said department of anabilim was to bridge the past and the present, but it is incomplete. For obviously, in the turkish-islamic world, the studies made need to be examined by the best hands in order to be carried over to the present. By realizing that there is a need for a turkish philosophy telakkis in terms of national culture and the reality of the concept of turkish-islamic philosophy, prof. keklik has taken a very important step on this path. This book of prof. keklik and the other books that will be published as a series by bilge culture art have a distinct importance in terms of giving the reader a period comparable to the philosophers of the renaissance. The studies of prof. dr. nihat keklik, who expertly examines the multifaceted medieval turkish-islamic world, are of unique value not only for those interested in this period, but also for the general reader with its simple explanation.
