Product description

In my turn to divan literature, the great influence has been the writings of mehmed cavuşoğlu (1935-1987), which were later published under the title between the divans. I would read these articles, which opened small doors to his mysterious world by removing the divan poetry from the ivory tower, with pleasure as they were published in magazines. The articles i have published under the title from the divan world are in a way a continuation of these. My late teacher, amil celioğlu (1934-1990), also investigated original topics that no one else knew or attracted attention to before, and presented them as reports at congresses, drawing attention to the wealth of topics in our literature.

The articles in the book you have can be attributed to teacher âmil çelebioğlu in terms of addressing the original topics of the divan poetry that have not been discussed before, and mehmed çavuşoğlu in terms of writing in a style that the average reader can understand.

these can also be called footnote essays.

both academic and popular.

These essays, each of which emerged as a product of long readings, with a trial taste and small scale, can serve as a model for more comprehensive systematic studies to be done to monitor the historical progress, development and diversification of the concepts in our literature.
