Biblos Kitabevi Walden or Life in the Woods

Product description

In the summer of 1985, the american writer and philosopher henry david thoreau, a freedom fighter, moved to his own wooden cabin in the forest, more precisely, on the shore of walden lake in massachusetts.

he wanted to live alone, lean and free, away from the fast and noisy civilization, face to face with only the most important phenomena of life, free from the distracting effects of civilization.

it actually stayed there “to avoid discovering the day it faced death” that it did not “live”. The information he imparted about his time spent at walden lake, the thoughts he formed there, is a convincing defense of a life in harmony with the nature within us as much as outside us.
