Beyan Yayınları Break a Wire - Faruk Beşer'in Hatıraları

Product description

Should a unfinished memoir be published? the book in your hands emerged as a result of our positive response to this question as faruk beşer's family/children. We knew that my father was writing his memoir after finishing the quran-kerim meal-tefsir work, which he was engaged in with great enthusiasm for many years. In recent years, some parts of our memories have been told more in our gatherings. We would listen with excitement and encourage him to write his memories. He probably spent more time in the habit of writing, influenced by the encouragement of his friends and students who probably had more impact on his decision to write. Among the experiences they told us, there were also very important and some might be considered private memories related to the experiences of muslims in turkey, beyond the personal experiences and points that are important for our family history. We believe that the commemorative, even as far as the part that can be written, can provide an important contribution to the recent history of islamic efforts in turkey. "we took the title of the book from the verse ""while giving endless enthusiasm, the composer breaks a string, the harmony is cut off forever"" by yahya kemal, which my father loved the most and often repeated."

for us, that wire broke.
