Original aqueous solution of Povidone-iodine 10% w/v for antiseptic use on skin, mucous membranes and wounds.
Indicated for preoperative skin/mucous membrane preparation, prevention of post-operative surgical wound infection, casualty procedures (prevention of infection in burns, lacerations and abrasions), treatment of bacterial, viral, protozoal and mycotic skin infections (including tinea, oral thrush, impetigo, herpes simplex and zoster), and for hygienic and surgical disinfection of the hands.
