Berfin Yayınları Nazım Hikmet’le Yedi Yıl

Product description

"the writing style on the pages of this book is a vivid image of the faces that overlapped in my memory during the seven years we spent together with nazım hikmet. it's as if hundreds of stamps were scattered and displayed in my memory, drawing by drawing. in other words, this book is arranged with a ""documentary"" writing technique that encompasses a seven-year period. therefore, the style of this book is not like the memoirs of a tourist writer. despite the pressures of the hardships and troubles we faced during the times we stayed in the mapushane with nazım hikmet, we acted as teacher and student, hand in hand, turning the mapushane into a ""school"". during this seven-year period of imprisonment, we played ""dramas"" from time to time. but despite the pressure of imprisonment, the anger in our hearts did not diminish. and also: we added knowledge to our minds and skill to our hands. if you want, look and read: nazım hikmet's poems and my drawings were born in the ""school"" of the mapus dam there by us."
