Hello, does silicone cause odor? Most mothers say that the silicone food plate smells even if it is washed thoroughly and that the smell is transferred to the food. It should not be used. What kind of product is it in terms of quality?
Answer from ERMA HOME
Hello, thank you very much for your message. Our products are made from 100% premium quality food-grade silicone and do not contain harmful substances such as BPA and PVC. There are some points to be considered before the first use and regular cleaning of silicone products. If it is not washed properly or in contact with strong-smelling food for a long time, there may be a slight odor retention. However, we have specifically designed our products to be resistant to high heat and easy to clean. If it is left in hot water for a while before the first use and cleaned regularly by hand or in the dishwasher, there will be no odor transfer. These sets, which many mothers love to use, are both hygienic and long-lasting. Rest assured about quality, if you are not satisfied, we are always ready to support.

The apron smells like plastic and my spoon bends while taking food, I wonder why?
Answer from ERMA HOME
It's noticeable when first opened, but it completely disappears after a few washes. We recommend washing with warm water and mild detergent and then airing it out. As for the bending of the spoon; since the product is made of soft silicone, it is designed to be flexible in order not to harm the baby's mouth structure. When taking food, it may tilt slightly, which is normal.
