Product description

When it comes to leather, the terrifying wind blowing from mount muzdağ should come to mind. During the winter months, it's so scattered, it's as if that pile of stones will uproot derik. The shutters of the shops are banging, stones are falling from the drops. If there is a tinny place, it blows like paper.

it rains a lot. These rains will flood. It takes the soil, humus, leaves that have turned from green to yellow, under the şahvelet bridge, from there to the euphrates, to syria. The rifleman novel by ümit kaftancıoğlu, whose works clearly feel the influence of his years at the village institute, takes place in derik district of mardin. At the center of the story are young teachers from the village institutes in different parts of the country. Derik comes to them as if it is a completely different world with its geography, the daily life where more kurdish than turkish is spoken, and human relations. "this geography, surrounded by mountains on one side and desert on the other, seems as if it has never been touched by the ""turkish revolutions""."

here, a networked order of duchies prevails, which is also supported by the state. "against necimoğlu, the leader of the rutan tribe, one of the two major tribes, there is abdürrahim türk, the eagle of the desert and the leader of the ""kasrı kanco"" castle."

both sides are armed from head to toe, their hands are rifles.

riflemen is a contemporary novel that details how the tribal order, whose effects are still felt in our social life, was restructured by the hand of the state, and makes powerful criticisms of “the regime of money stamps, thick-backed cowards”.
