Contrary to most people, the other worlds that güngör established through literature confront him with his own story and lead us to turn everything about the political human upside down without hesitation. "özgür ölüler," the first novel in nevzat güngör's trilogy, is a story that flows between fantastical worlds and dystopian landscapes, driven by a mixture of sweat, anger, hope, and disappointment. This universe, where oppression and injustice reign, and where feet and heads collide in anger, opens its doors to rebellion and hope, just like the world we live in. We also witness how a freedom march, with the story of the free dead, which may be its last attempt, can slip from our hands like grains of sand.

The origin of the system that rose on the captivity of souls, not bodies, was the holy book. Even the nameless, who were as worthless as animals, surrendered to their entire existence, believing they deserved the pain they were experiencing until the end. In fact, the vast majority wouldn't hesitate to seize any opportunity that presented itself, even if it meant enduring more pain. Their souls were such a desert that not a single raindrop fell from the day they were born until the day they died.
