summary:The thought world of martin heidegger, one of the leading names of contemporary philosophy, is extensive and influential, but it also carries with it the burden of a conceptual network that is difficult to understand conceptually.

heidegger, who is closely interested in the transformations of philosophical terms from ancient greek and latin to contemporary languages, expects his students and readers to closely know the layered structure of language in culture. Heidegger, who is also aware of the new breath he brings to this culture, tries to both break the rules and invent new ones while deriving his own concepts and words.

this re-evaluation of the rules is mandatory, otherwise the search for the entity, which has been covered for a very long time, will continue to be in the dark. Therefore, understanding the philosopher requires a certain degree of knowledge in areas such as mythology, poetry, literature, etymology, semantics along with philosophical comprehension. Michael inwood's heidegger dictionary explains the fundamental concepts of the philosopher in a descriptive style for the reader who wants to overcome this burden. The dictionary, which can be read like a book for those who want to get acquainted with heidegger's terminology, is also a qualified reference source that experts working on heidegger's books can consult.

with numerous allusions to the philosopher ' s corpus, inwood offers a broad perspective on concepts.

thus, the reader can trace not only the meaning of concepts within a single text, but their transformation in different texts heideggerian.
