Ayrıntı Yayınları Crime and Punishment

Product description

He was so closed in and away from people that he was afraid to meet anyone, not just the host. He was writhing in poverty

but lately he didn't care about that either. He had completely abandoned his vital work, he did not want to deal with it. In fact, he was not afraid of the host or anything, no matter what he was planning against him. But to stand on the stairs, to listen to his usual everyday nonsense, which does not concern him in the slightest, all these annoying things about rent, threats, rants, begging for forgiveness in order to save the collar, lying... no, the best thing was to go through the stairs like a cat and to squeeze into the little ones without being seen. . . “before his death, dostoyevsky wrote that his greatest dream as a man and a writer was always to help mankind, the oppressed and the poor, both in russia and in the whole world, the “ninth of mankind”, to restore the dignity of mankind, to conquer the way to the kingdom of light and thought. Among the realistic works of the nineteenth-century literature, there is no other work that so fearlessly depicts the suffering of the masses from poverty, social inequality and oppression as crime and punishment, as shakespeare with his mastery. But the novel of dostoevsky is not just a picture of poverty and social inequality, mixed with a gripping tragedy. It also calls to the conscience and mind of mankind...” g. m. fridlender
