summary: "my memory is not the memories i experienced, but the memories i inherited."

“the echo of a past.

the submerged, unseen part of my history.

sagamın dark birth point. The day i was born, the clot i carried in my palms, and i carried this tragedy throughout my childhood. "and always at the time i want to forget.

This narrative, which is based on the drama experienced by armenians within the ottoman empire at the end of the nineteenth century and after the first world war, is a historical and family memory. The remnants of photographs and a demolition brought to life through narratives are a rare and powerful blend, a composition that attracts its heirs to itself.

this event, which has been called the first genocide of the twentieth century, has never been captured in such an epic and universal statement.

the poet, the geostategist and the expert on troubled areas, gérard chaliand, long refused to be the bearer of the weight of the 1915 genocide, whose grandfathers he sacrificed.

this text is the confluence of 20 years of speech trailers over time.
