Product description

Aras publishing adds a new one to mıgırdiç margosyan's publications on the occasion of his 80th birthday. The author's first book in turkish and the most well-known work, the kurdish translation of gavur neighborhood, is presented to readers.

This book, which is a translation of the book named mer ayt goğmeri (our homeland), which won the eliz kavukçuyan-ayvazyan literature prize (paris-france) in 1988, presented to the authors who wrote in armenian, now offers one of the most vivid depictions made in literature of diyarbakır, which has become history. By presenting segments of the lives of people in diyarbakır and its surroundings in his stories, margosyan introduces his readers not only to armenians, but also to an entire region with its folklore values, traditions, sorrows and joys. "the magic of the stories is hidden in their experiences: ""in my writings, i told about our places, as i saw and experienced."

i gave the types and names almost verbatim, without changing them, as they are.

many of them, those bastards, those bastards, those uncles, have moved to the other side. Let their names, memories, live on in these lines, in these books.
