Isbn: 9786257460026 Author: zaven biberyan Publisher: aras publishing Language: turkish Binding: paperback Summary: the novels of the sunset of the ants, the lonely ones, the broken lovers are finally read with great excitement in turkish. zaven biberyan's self-portrait, which reflects the life and time of a writer in the most honest, most naked, most genuine way. "the publication of ""the dawn of the prisoners"", on the 100th anniversary of biberyan's birth in 1921, is a unique testimony to the first twenty-five years of biberyan's life, his childhood, youth, and the political and cultural environment of the 1930s and 1940s." This narrative, which is quite rich in terms of details about living in istanbul and the depiction of relationships between people and even societies, also reveals the adventure of biberyan, who is introduced to writing and literature at a younger age, turning into a master writer. As a fellow turkic armenian, the sections where he explains in detail how the discrimination he experienced, especially the hardships he suffered during the years of the nafia military service during the second world war, and the trials he went through due to his armenian and left-wing identities, have left their mark on his life and spirit, make one wonder how these pains were processed by biberyan and turned into unique black pearls through literature. We are presenting dawn of the condemned, a guidebook that opens the locked doors of the multi-layered world to the inner world of our author, whom we admire for his literature, with great pleasure.
