As he always did, mr. jones, the owner of beylik farm, locked the coop that night, but as always, he was drunk enough to forget to close the windows. after walking wobbly in the courtyard, illuminating left and right with his swinging lantern, he reached the back door, with difficulty took off his boots, filled one last glass from the beer keg in the pantry, and staggered towards the bed where jones was snoring.

As soon as the light in the bedroom went out, a stir and hustle began in all the buildings of the farm.the big white pig, the old major, who was honored with the surname of the big chief, had been running around all day with the news that he would tell all the animals on the farm about the strange dream he had seen the night before.after mr. jones was removed from the premises, it was decided to gather all the animals in the big barn.among the large animals, which were known as wellington beauties in the competition in which he entered, but were always referred to as the old major, he had such a high reputation and respect that every animal was willing to sacrifice a few hours of sleep to listen to him.
