I sit here to give you undeniable proof that i see your desires as indispensable orders. no matter how thankless the task is, i will remember those scandalous stages of my life; that, in the end, i enjoyed every blessing in the power of love, health, and generosity; that it is not too late to use the free time that my youth's spring and great comfort and prosperity have given me to develop a non-natural understanding, and even in the middle of the whirlpool of the aimless pleasures i was swept away by, i had observed the characters and attitudes of the world more than the common features of the people of my unhappy profession, who look at every thought or idea as enemies and keep it as far away as possible or ruthlessly destroy it. __t1__since i hate all long and unnecessary prefaces fatally, i will show you a good understanding on this subject and i will not apologize for preparing you to see the scattered part of my life written with the same freedom.
