Alfa Yayınları Türk Masalları

Product description

Tales often open with a nursery rhyme: Once upon a time, once upon a time.

Once upon a time, once upon a time.

When the camels were the tellers.

When the cats were the barbers and the roosters were the imams.

When my mother was at the threshold and my father was in the cradle.

When I was rocking my father's cradle.

My mother fell from the threshold, her forehead split from the spoon.

My mother grabbed the stick, my father grabbed the tongs.

This rhyme branches and lengthens according to the talent of the storyteller.

At the end of the tale, there is a shorter rhyme: "It's a tale." "It's a tale." "It's a tale." "It's a tale." "It's a tale.
