Alfa Yayınları Kamus-i Türki + Color Highlighter Pen

Product description

Shemseddin sami, who was originally albanian, was one of the important figures of ottomanism, which was one of the first forms of turkish nationalism. He argued that the ottoman empire needed to modernize to strengthen itself, and highlighted the importance of turkish, the common language of the vast empire, as one way to achieve this. In this regard, considerable efforts have been made to study, modernize and improve the turkish language. The kamus-ı türki, authored by şemseddin sami, who advocated for the simplification and turkification of the language, and suggested consulting the oldest sources of turkish and eastern turkish (chagatai) if necessary, is the first comprehensive dictionary of modern turkish.

since young turkish readers have difficulty using this very important and voluminous dictionary, which is arranged according to the arabic alphabet in its original form, we present it for the first time in the arrangement according to the latin alphabet in order to make it easier to search and find it.
