Emergency service. . . It's a different world where many people live the most important moments of their lives. . Where the thin line between life and death passes. . . Emergency departments, which are special service areas where thousands of joys and sorrows are experienced, where more than 120 million patients apply annually in our country of ninety million. Every day, dozens of different events occur, these places not only witness medical but also social stories. Sometimes the paths of an old uncle, sometimes a newborn child, sometimes a person holding very important positions, and sometimes a homeless and homeless person intersect here. These are places where people living different stories outside meet with a common fate without experiencing social and class discrimination. Patients in the emergency room, someone's son, someone's father, someone's wife, someone else's sister. But each is a human being, and each is a separate world. Healthcare workers who serve with a superhuman effort in emergency services, where it is necessary to work with dedication and love, deserve great love as the nameless heroes of this difficult life battle. We wish those who strive to survive, the branch to hold on to, the breathless to become a breath, but the health army, whose importance cannot be understood, these beautiful people deserve to get the value they deserve. We also wanted to see these places, which have many stories with their employees and patients who are stuck in the shadows, from a different perspective, and decided to organize a storytelling competition. "our competition, which we called ""the story of emergency"", received great interest. many people, from students to doctors, patients to companions, contributed to the series with extremely beautiful stories, and thanks to them, a beautiful work that we brought together with you emerged." We dedicate this work to all emergency room workers who selflessly work for their patients day and night without saying -prof. dr. başar cander atuder board chairman-
