Isbn-10: 9755109501 Author: john hawkes Translator: emin yaşar sınır The first thing that can be said about john hawkes' novel, blood oranges, from the master names of contemporary american literature, is undoubtedly its originality.

The author, whose novels we have previously published, soylu blood and sweet william, continues his narrative in this book, which is filled with striking images, colorful details, and observation skills, and tells us about the multi-partner relationships of two married couples who spend their days in a village on the mediterranean coast. "while stating that the main character of the novel, cyril, is the only enemy of a mature marriage and that our sexual identities are like lost souls wandering in a vast forest, he also reveals the subject."

Cyril, who describes himself as a 'white bull in the climate of love', and his wife fiona, who speaks the same language as him, catherine, his open-minded lover, and hugh, who will determine the course of these four's happy union with his separate stance, are the four heroes of this intriguing novel. "a different novel, ""blood oranges"" carries the richness of life, where the ""evil power"" and poetic happiness are fused in the atmosphere reminiscent of shakespeare's ""the twelfth night""."

one of the most mature works of the artist, which opens amazing horizons with the language of images and sound.
